Invested Faith is growing!

Invested Faith is excited to welcome two new team members:

Anna Meyer: Generosity

and

Alisha L. Gordon: Connection.

Their job titles reflect the scope of their work; Anna will oversee fundraising and donor relations while Alisha will build a connective network and create additional supports for our Fellows. The addition of these team members will allow Invested Faith to continue to grow in capacity and to provide much needed support and encouragement for our Fellows: those social entrepreneurs who are doing the hard work of changing the world.

Take a minute to learn a little more about them and welcome them to the team!

Anna Meyer, Generosity

Anna Meyer will oversee fundraising and donor relations at Invested Faith. She believes that every gift we make is an active choice to help grow the world we want to live in. Anna is an experienced fundraiser who has helped a variety of nonprofit organizations in the arts, education, and legal services spheres raise tens of millions of dollars. In 2021, she earned a MA in Leadership and Innovation from Luther Seminary, focusing her studies on congregational change and financial leadership.

Invested Faith sits at the intersection of Anna’s passions of faith and fundraising. You can find her connecting with others to invite them to join Invested Faith in the work of bringing the new world that God imagines for us to life.

Anna is excited about joining the team at Invested Faith. “As a person of faith I am always seeking to join the work of God in our world; our Invested Faith Fellows are bringing that new world to life every day and I'm honored to support their work and invite others to imagine what is possible in partnership together.”

Alisha L. Gordon, Connection

Rev. Alisha Gordon is the Founder and Executive Director of The Current Project, a nonprofit organization committed to the social, economic, and emotional well-being of Black single mothers. As a 2021 Invested Faith fellow, Alisha brings her rich experiences as a social entrepreneur, teacher, and community leader to help other fellows foster deeper connection with one another and the world.

Alisha’s role at Invested Faith is grounded in connectivity -- closing the "isolation gap" that many fellows experience on their entrepreneurial journey and creating pathways for learning, storytelling, and deeper connection. Recently named a 2023 Locke Innovative Leader Award recipient, Alisha brings all her knowledge, skill, and experience to her work at Invested Faith.

“It has been such a gift to join Invested Faith as a new team member, especially after having rich experiences as a 2021 Invested Faith Fellow. There's something uniquely powerful about serving Invested Faith Fellows in this way, connecting them to the deeply meaningful resources that were essential in my own experiences as a fellow.”
